1) Think outside the box for decorations. Don't ignore thrift shops and
dollar stores for simple accents and even materials for centerpieces.

2) Consider party supply stores for all your tableware, balloons, and favors.

3) Vistaprint has countless designs for invitations, and they are much
cheaper than specialty printers.

4) If you have a friend or family member who loves taking photos or videos,
consider asking if they would be willing to do it for your wedding.

5) Do you have several favorite restaurants? See if they offer large catering
sizes of their dishes, and then get different ones from various places. Buy
a buffet set (chafing pans, stands, sternos) and set up your own buffet for
much less than the price of full catering by a single vendor.

6) Weddings on weekends are more expensive, especially in terms of venue.

Consider a weekday wedding.

7) To cut down on transportation (and possibly venue) costs, have the

ceremony and reception in the same place.

8) Use artificial flowers and foliage instead of real plants. .
