Instruction: Complete the four phases of 2E-2A Model of Instruction. You may
choose any subject from your field of specialization.

Engage

In carpentry subject, the students are introduced on what is carpentry all about. Its uses,
applications, and importance into the real world. Including the different types of
frameworks, wood joints and in layouting a building.

Explore

Student in the same class are given the chance to explore all about the carpentry subject
through a discussion with the uses of PowerPoint as support for the teachers topic.
Including with sample pictures for a further information regarding carpentry. And let the
student research about more ideas about carpentry subject.

Apply

The students were given a tasks, a performance-based tasks. A task that requires an
outcome. They are assigned to perform the different types of wood joints, the cutting,
the measuring, fastening and also the steps on how to lay out a building.

Assess

Teachers are able to evaluate the works of the students based on their performances
and the outcomes of their activities. The students are able to follow all the steps, and if
they are following the 2 considerations in layouting a building; parallel to the existing
buildings and parallel to the road. Also check the squareness, and the appropriate ness
of measurement.
