PEREIRA et al (2010) propose a model predictive control framework for a tank level control,
based on prognostics, health and maintenance information, defined as a relationship between
control and actuator degradation, by assuming that the accumulated degradation of the system
will remain below the threshold limit. The results showed that the developed framework is able
to distribute the control effort to each actuator, without harming the operational costs.
