Once upon a time, there was a young impatient and worrisome girl named Blaire.

She grew up in a

small village called Roserock. Roserock was a very lower class village with not much too see or

experience. Just up along the hill was a grey, dusty castle that held the royals.
Growing up, Blaire had a pretty average life, although she admired the lavish life as a little girl up

until now. Her parent’s, Diane and Russell, were very strict on Blaire as a child. They did not allow

her to experience as much as the average kids nor allow her to make her own decisions. The reason

Blaire feels isolated towards everyone else is because she is used to keeping her opinions and feelings

inside of her, rather than everyone else being able to voice theirs As if it wasn’t already hard enough,

her parents made all of her decisions for her including who she loves and maintains a relationship.
Blaire’s family has always been close with the Larkin’s who lived down the corner. In the Larkin

family is a boy named Bates who is Blaire’s age. Bates has always put on an innocent face for her

parents, but was very controlling and obsessive over Blaire. He has always been the one her parents

pushed for her to be with and eventually marry, but little did they know how psychotic he really was.

In the past, Bates has done several harmful things towards Blaire without her parents awareness,

and never believe her when she attempted to speak up about them.
One day as Blaire was planting in her garden, she noticed a glistening bright blue butterfly. She felt

as if she had seen it before as it landed on her shoulder. She felt some type of safety through this

butterfly as if it was a soft comforting blanket. Ever since that day the butterfly as been somewhere

near her at all time, although she did not think much of it. Blaire then decided to name this butterfly

Charles and personified it as her “guardian angel.”

As she walked along the trail home something clicked in her head. She noticed that as long as the

butterfly is around her, Bates has not approached her. When Blaire arrived at her small home she

approaches her hide away place that she attends to when she feels like no one listened. A rocky well

in the middle of her backyard.

As she sat there all alone she heard a whisper in her ear “Careful Dear, Trouble is Near,” she then

felt someone approach her from behind. She then turned around and saw Bates stare into her eyes.

Blaire panics not knowing what to do, looking around she sees Charles has disappeared. As her eyes

opened wide, she witnessed Bates run after her.

Blaire’s only idea was to move out of the way and lead Bates to run himself right into the well.

Blaire then quickly shut the well top that enclosed him in and ran inside so that he would be

forgotten. When she got to her room, there was a man sitting on her bed. Confused, she asked who he

was.
“I’m your guardian angel. Who do you think has been protecting you from Bates all this

time?”

“Charles? How?”

“When I was younger an old witch cast a spell on me to ensure I would never be happy

again. But, ever since you, I have been waiting for Bates to be gone so I could be your form of

happiness too, which would reverse the spell. And since I am a man again, I see that I am your

source of happiness. So let me introduce myself, I am Prince Alexander.”

Before Blaire could say anything, Alexander leaned in for a kiss, and they lived happily ever after.”
