NARRATIVE
To protect and advance the right of the people to a balance and healthful ecology in accord
with the rhythm and harmony of the nature, trees play important role in ecological stability. Hence,
through the Executive Order No. 54, 2019 the Provincial Office of Isabela declares a Special Non-
working holiday on December 6, 2019 in the province for the simultaneous tree planting activity.
But due to prolonged heavy rains which led to flooding prompted to postpone the activity and
rescheduled today, December 20, 2019.

In this regard, the San Pablo District conducted a one-day tree planting activity. Trees such
as fruit bearing trees and other available seedlings donated by the DENR were planted 5 meters
away from the school perimeter fence.

The activity was successfully done. Teachers and school heads were able to accomplished
their goal to plant 100 trees in their respective area of responsibilities.
