Nature At Your Doorstep

Living in Idaho is like vacationing year round, well if you like all four
seasons of course. Mother Nature here has a mind of its own. The
famous saying the locals say is “if you don’t like the weather in Idaho,
wait five minutes.” And boy, is that the truth. I have lived here my
whole life and on multiple cases, I have seen it rain, snow, hail and
feel like it is 70 degrees outside, all at the same time.

Whether you like hiking the hill

sides, in the fall to see the array of
autumn leaves or snowboarding the
mountain tops for a scenic winter
wonderland view. In the summer
you can go water skiing amongst
the multiple gorgeous waters that
surround us or
you can go to the
first and world
famous “floating green” golf course
resort. The possibilities here are endless and so
much fun is knocking on your door.
That is why, I love this area. I’d
have to say personally, summer
time; floating the river and fall
time; walking downtown along
the lakeside have tied for my
favorites. Yes, I’ve gushed about
the beautiful seasons here in Coeur
d’Alene, because there’s something special to be said about them
each year.
Not to mention the abundance of
wildlife; humans certainly were not the
first to discover the breathtaking
lands. It is fun to explore the natural
and rural areas around the Pacific
Northwest. When I say wildlife: I mean
“lions, tigers, and bears, oh my….”
Well, minus the tigers, but we do have
mountain lions, bears, elk, deer, wolves, raccoons, moose, a variety
of birds and fish and of course bald eagles, so if you
are a wildlife enthusiast Northern Idaho is the
spot for you.
You’ll find many reasons to visit Coeur d’Alene, whether you like
snow sports or summer fun, Idaho has always been my top place to
visit, and better yet to live. All I have to do is open the front door and
nature is at my doorstep...
