INDICATIONS FOR USE

Jevity® 1 Cal is an isotonic, fibre-fortified, high-protein liquid formula.
It provides complete, balanced nutrition for people requiring short- or
long-term tube feeding. Dietary fibre helps people maintain normal
bowel function.

Suggested indications:
• For people requiring acute care or chronic tube feedings.
• For people intolerant to low-residue feedings.
• For supplemental or as a sole source of nutrition.
• Not suitable for people with galactosemia.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Complete, balanced nutrition.
• Provides 14.4 g of total dietary fibre/L. Dietary fibre helps maintain
normal bowel function and may be useful in the dietary manage-
ment of diarrhea and constipation.
• Isotonic formula is beneficial for those intolerant to hyperosmolar
feedings, reducing the potential for hyperosmotic diarrhea.
• For tube feeding or oral feeding of patients with altered taste
perception.
