If you do not have siprotec file and automation system is not commissioned and protection system is

already commissioned then follow below instruction to make siprotec device file.

Step1 Check the VD address of device from display ( menu>settings>setup/extras>Device ID)

Step2 create a new project to use for this purpose and insert a new device with same pset. as device is.
Step3 Open device online via front port using direct communication
Step4 While opening online digsi will ask you about selection between ‘Device data’ or ‘PC data’ then
select ‘Device data’.
Step5 Now you have relay online with a siprotec device file save it.
