O’er the Hill

(February 27, 2018)

‘Tis true and righteous to spring afore!

At forenoon’s tempo, thou shall proudly soar

To strengthen one’s soul in dignified haste

Farewell, lost aura and transcend nowadays.

Spirit’s breathing spell only perishes,

When alive vivid time briskly elapses

Ne’ermore lay trust in serene calm grace:

The baneful schemes of evil fate.

Suchlike nasty cracks and painful aches

“Ouch!” cried mortal bones in their wake

Benumbed dead touch of thin delicate nerves;

Must never compel thee to swerve.

Nay! How verily dark and desolate indeed

All surmounting distresses of a long-lived

Harken senescent voices of wisdom!

They climbed hills with knowledge and freedom.

Wise ancient one, do thou still perceive?

Amidst foggy, faint, and fuzzy perspective?

Taste and cherish life’s luscious wealth;

Its aroma of blessings makes hearts melt.

Admire thy blessings, grasp time’s heart

Sequence of events shows beauty and art

Heed the unyoung if thou ought to stay;

Quiescent and tranquil by the cease of day.
