Advanced GRE Prep Plan (4 months-

330+)
Since we are non-native speakers, our main weakness lies in the English
language and vocabulary. So, the first step for GRE preparation is to start
learning vocabulary and reading articles.

Next, Start with Manhattan quantitative guide 1-6(2nd/4th ed.) for basic
strategy and concepts along with Magoosh video lessons for verbal.

Articles: Go through all the articles shared by Chris Lele and read at least 1
article everyday from either longreads.com or aldaily.com

N.B. Follow active reading strategy while going through the articles.

Vocabulary: 1. Learn vocabs while solving TCs and SEs from GRE Big Book and
ETS materials

N.B. Don’t ignore the vocabularies of wrong answer choices.


2. Verbal advantage vocabulary book.

3. Magoosh vocabulary book by Chris Lele.


Materials:

1. Manhattan GRE (1-6)(2nd/4th ed.)(all the drills, problem sets and


exercises)

2. Magoosh video lessons only for concepts and strategies (verbal only)

3. ETS Official revised GRE ( all parts with answer explanations)

4. ETS Official revised GRE quantitative reasoning volume-1 (all Qs with


answer explanations)

5. ETS Official GRE verbal reasoning volume-1 (all Qs with answer


explanations)

6. GRE Big Book (only for RC, TC, CR and DI)

7. Official GMAT (Problem Solving, Reading comprehensions and Critical


reasoning)

8. Official GMAT quantitative review (Problem solving)

9. Offcial GMAT verbal review ( critical reasoning and reading


comprehensions)

10. Official LSAT ( only for reading comprehension and critical


reasoning)(20 tests)

12. GMAT (700-800) level problem solving questions for quant part only.

13. CAT quant by Arun Sharma (difficulty level 3 only)

14. Magoosh hard and very hard ones for both verbal and quant (optional)

15. Manhattan 5lb for Quant (optional)

***Mocks: PP1, PP2, PP Plus(1-3) and Manhattan GRE 6 mocks.


Strategy:

Verbal Strategy:

1. Watch all the video lessons of Magoosh.

2. Learn vocabs and develop your logical reasoning skill while solving TC
from Big Book.

3. Start solving critical reasoning from Big Book, Official GMAT, Official
GMAT verbal review and official LSAT .

4. Start solving medium and long passages from Official GMAT, Offcial
GMAT verbal review, Big Book and LSAT, and finally go through all the
ETS materials twice with answer explanations.

5. You can solve hard and very hard TC and SE from Magoosh (optional)

Quant Strategy:

Once you are done with Manhattan (1-6) and all the ETS materials, u
should start problem-solving part Official GMAT, Official GMAT Quant
review, gmat club (700-800) level problem-solving Qs and CAT Quant(
Only difficulty level 3) by Arun Sharma.

 You can solve quant probs from both Magoosh and Manhattan 5lb(
optional)
