A. Rate of Payment- Only for Stage II Vetting of Base Map Stage.


50 % mobilization advance along with work order- ONLY AFTER that team would be
deployed in the site.
10 % payment to be released after completing Survey and submission of output only in Soft
copies.
40 % of payment to be made on Approval of 2nd Stage Submission and Receipt of payment
from DTCP for the second Stage.
Advance Payment can be made to Mr. Shanmuga Sundaram

Performance Standards:

Survey will be done in highest standards of professional and ethical competence and integrity.
Number of Persons to be assigned for field survey will be decided the sub consultant.

The Scope of work of the Sub Consultant is limited to Collection of Data in field,
data entry in excel and Correction of Field Maps in Soft Copy only.

No hard copies of any maps or Sheets will be supplied Sub Consultant.

Consultant to facilitate the approval process by the DTCP/LPA in the field- It has to
be taken care Jana Urban.

Any correction will be carried out by Sub Consultant.

Annexure A: Terms of Reference — Scope of Services

Detailed Scope of Services of Consultancy Assignment:

Client intends to procure the services of a Consulting firm to carry out the Ground verification of
Base Maps and attribute collection and Household and Traffic Survey of Kumbakonam Local Planning
Area. However, the maps for each town will be given one at a time.

On clearing of all payment for each town, other would be taken

On completion of the same, the maps for the next town/ Local Planning Area will be provided. Billing
will also be on milestone reached for each town/Local Planning Area. The Client is within its rights to
split the survey requirement to two vendors in order to hasten the speed of completion, or if dis-
satisfied with the quality of delivery.

A. Ground verification of Base Maps and attribute collection

Output will be delivered in soft copy as per the standards.- acoorning to

Towns/Local Planning Area (LPA) to be surveyed:

2.1 Kumbakonam
Note: Inputs to be provided for Ground verification of Base Maps and attribute collection ?
(a) City Index Map.
(b) Grid wise (500m x 500m) Field maps in Pdf / A0 Hardcopy format. (Sample Schedule – 2)
(c) Attribute data Proforma in Excel format- (1) Grid wise for all line features, (2) Grid wise for
Buildings footprints & (3) For Points, feature wise sheet to be used for every grid.
(d) Three Code List provided for Base features, Urban Land Use/Land cover & Building footprints
for reference (Schedule – 3)
Ward Details maps and Slum Location Maps of the Municipalities and town Panchayats
to be Provided by jana Urban.

3.1.2: Schedule of Reports:

The Consultant shall prepare and submit the vetted base map copies (Soft Copies) along
with attributes filled in excel provided for each grid map (Soft Copies).
Other Survey Will not be done at these Stage.

3.1.3 Payment Schedule:

The Schedule of payments shall be by approved package as under:

1) 50% mobilization advance along with work order after deploying the survey team at site.

2) 10% payment to be released after completing Stage II Survey and the same being
checked and verified by Engineer / LPA-In-Charge representing the Client and local Formatted: Font color: Red

3) 40% of payment towards survey will be made to the Consultant upon approval of Stage II
Data for Each town.

4. Key professionals for the required services:

4.1: The minimum requirement is to have minimum of 5 teams comprising of 3 members each at any
given time for one town/LPA. – this line has to be removed

Annexure B: Consultant’s Reporting Obligations

The Client shall provide liaison with other Government agencies and Departments for the
introduction of the Consultant in order to complete the project successfully.

Jana Urban Shall Inform in Written to Collectorate, LPA and SP office regarding Stage II Survey to be
conducted, and shall provide the copy to us.
