THE STRETCH GOAL EXERCISE 2

The exercise helps us to establish a more prominent, clearer, and detailed

vision which helps create a greater sense of motivation and empowerment
towards accomplishing our goal. For this reason, when working with other
people, you could use this exercise in the same session as Stretch Goal
Exercise 1:

1. The Stretch Goal: Tell me about/re-visit this goal that you have – something
that you would like to create in the world, that would be a considerable stretch
for you?

2. Possibility: Grade how strongly you believe your goal is possible from 1 to 10
(1 = not at all possible; 10 = absolutely possible)

- Do you think this goal is achievable?

- Do you think YOU personally can achieve this goal?

- What do you believe about yourself or the world that makes it this number?
THE STRETCH GOAL EXERCISE 2

- What changes might you have to make within yourself (behaviourally,

psychologically or attitduinally) to increase this number up to a 9, or potentially
even a 10?

3. Desirability: Grade how desirable this goal is on a scale of 1 to 10

(1 = not desirable at all; 10 = absolutely desirable)

- Is this goal desirable?

- What do you believe about yourself or the world that makes it this number?

- What changes might you have to make in the way you're living your life right
now to increase this number up to a 9, or potentially even a 10?

4. Worthiness: Grade how strongly you believe in the worthiness of this goal on
a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = not worthwhile at all; 10 = absolutely worthwhile)

- Do you believe you deserve this goal?
