First of all, thanks to Allah SWT because of the help of Allah, writer finished writing
the report entitled “STUDY TOUR TO JAKARTA INTERNATIONAL EXPO
MANUFACTURING SHOWCASE” right in the calculated time.

The purpose in writing this paper is to fulfill the assignment that given by Dr. H.
Asep Setiadi, M.Pd. as lecturer in english major.

In arranging this paper, the writer truly get lots challenges and obstructions but
with help of many indiviuals, those obstructions could passed. writer also realized
there are still many mistakes in process of writing this paper.

Because of that, the writer says thank you to all individuals who helps in the
process of writing this paper. hopefully Allah replies all helps and bless you all. The

CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background report

This report was made to report on study tour activities at the Jakarta International
Expo, Kemayoran Indonesia. I reported my activities there because at the time of the
activity we searched for ourselves about info about manufacturing companies that
were scattered there and to fulfill one of the English assignments that Dr. H. Asep
Setiadi, M.Pd.

1.2 The Purpose Of The Report

1) Report the activity while there.

2) The company visited.

CHAPTER II

IMPRESSION, MESSAGE, RECOMENDATION

2.1 Impression

I am happy to be there because I get what I need like getting information about
the oil and the price I need for PKM but because of the limited time I can't visit the
company I want like Autodesk Inc and the raw material company with AISI standards

2.2 Message

1) Departing must be early again so that not much time is wasted on visits there.

2) For bus stops don't get too long because it can waste time too.

2.3 Recomendation

1) This event can extend the duration of the visit.

2) Maintenance can also be held so that those who want to major in automotive can
get their knowledge too because there the company is engaged in manufacturing.

CHAPTER III

SUGGESTIONS FOR NEXT STUDY TOUR

1) For the study tour, I suggested coming before the exhibition opened, the bus stop
was not too long because it could hamper the time and shorten the time of the visit.

2) The most importantly it was not wrong to enter the data collection because it
could be detrimental, the Gold Visiter should be a Regular Visiter, and that was taken
into consideration to greet us because every time we go through the company booth,
the Sales Promotion Girls always see business cards, and I notice they only greet
friendly to the Gold Visitor rather than the Regular Visitor.

3) Try to make the uniforms of the clothes so that they can be known there, such as
black suits with white shirts and black ties.

4) And the last suggestion is that business cards do not include "Technician Trainee"
because they humble us, even though our clothes are in suits, but after seeing our
business cards they are immediately lazy to extend their conversation with us.
