Accessing your eBook for

the first time and


reading offline

To access your eBook, click on the link in the VLE to begin the process of adding the title to
your personal library:

1: Welcome to Bookshelf
To begin, enter your email. If you already have a
Bookshelf account, you will be able to enter your
password and the title will be added to your account. If
you are new to Bookshelf, enter your email address and
you will be directed to the next step.

2: You are almost done!


Here, enter your first and last name and then choose a
security question/answer and then finally create and
confirm a password for your account. Tick the box to
agree to the terms of use and privacy policy and then
click on ‘Finish’.

3: No thanks, I’ll skip this step


If you do not want to create a Bookshelf account, click
here. This will allow you to read the eBook but you will
not be able to read offline on our native applications.

The registration screen will appear every time you access Bookshelf, if you do not create an account.

Read Books Offline


Click on the operating system (IOS, Android, Mac
or PC) you are using and proceed to download the
Bookshelf application.

To download our native application from inside


Bookshelf there are 2 options as outlined below:

1: From within an eBook: Click


on the menu icon and then on
the ‘Download App’ option

2: From your digital library:


Click on the account icon and
then on ‘Download App’

Bookshelf Download Page:


Click on the ‘Download’ button
for the platform you wish to use

You are allowed to simultaneously download and use 2 mobile devices (phone and tablet) and 2
non-mobile devices (PC and laptop). Video tutorials explaining the many features of Vitalsource
Bookshelf are available by clicking .
