Hi all,
The question is about external data in MicroStrategy. Only user who uploaded the
file has access to it, but file is hidden. Change the access right could be done only in
Developer.

The question is about external data in MicroStrategy
Earlier, if user added an external data (excel), it was saved, and wasn’t hidden for the user who
uploaded data.
 
Now, while uploading external data, MicroStrategy gives options to save it:
1)as Dossier
2)as a Document

Are there any issues with creating another instance of Library on the same server by copying the
installation folder <TOMCAT_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY>\webapps\MicroStrategyLibrary? I named the
other folder MicroStrategyLibrary2 and I can access it using
http://<FQDN>:8080/MicroStrategyLibrary2/ (http://%3CFQDN%3E:8080/MicroStrategyLibrary2/) and
http://<FQDN>8080/MicroStrategyLibrary2/admin
(http://%3CFQDN%3E8080/MicroStrategyLibrary2/admin).  I also connect the second instance to a
different intelligence server.

Could you please let me know which kind of pie graph is this. How can we get as it is when we are
working. I mean the percentage (tooltip) values should avaliable on the pie graph.

Unable to start Intelligence Server on Microstrategy Web

I am actually using MicroStrategy Web and trying to connect to Web using RESTAPI , Ours is a free trial
which is hosted on AWS. Is it because a free trial i am not able to start the server? When i try to connect i
get the error:
 
"The connection failed. Possible causes are a) Server is not running, b) Server is loading project, c)
Network problem, or d) Server reached maximum connection limit.

BUG - Button "remove from report" has wrong styling

Hi,
 
in MicroStrategy Web ASP.NET (http://ASP.NET) 10.4 HF7 and 10.11 the Button "remove from report"
(with id="xx") which is placed in pivot buttons has wrong styling. It should be a x.
 
NOTE: This button is only displayed for user without privileges OLAP-Services or using Report Objects!
For users with OLAP-Services a button "remove from table" (with id="x") is correctly displayed.

I have given access to Oracle Database View and i need to desgin Microstrategy Project based on Oracle
Database connection for the given views instead of tables.
