To begin with the fact that Singapore
recognized as the best country for doing business with
the Business Environment Ranking. According to
many economists, in Singapore can very successfully
do business. Singapore has good financial
infrastructure, political stability and an advantageous
geographical location. In regard, Singapore can be
called one of the main centers of business and
commerce. There is a convenient tax system for
foreign investment. Also, this country is famous for its
favorable investment climate and stable political
condition. Singapore almost never leaves the rating of
the safest countries in the world and keeps at one of
the highest positions from year to year.
Introduction A company in Singapore is a guarantee of a
successful and respectable international business. Only
in Singapore there is no corruption, there are the
fastest condition for licensing and only here you can
get financing for business in Singapore on the security
of ideas. Not having its own minerals and forced to
import almost all the necessary food from neighboring
countries (even drinking water), Singapore, thanks to
the strategic position in the Strait of Malacca, become
one of the most dynamically developing countries in
the world, an important center trade, finance,
development of new technologies, marketing, services.
Singapore is not only the most comfortable place in
the world for the convenience of doing business. It is
the safest and most well-maintained state in Asia and
one of the most comfortable living places around the
world.
In Singapore, one of the highest levels of life
in the world – in terms of GDP per capita, the country
is confidently in the top five. So, the country has all
the necessary resources to do business.

Singapore - officially the Republic of Singapore is

Official name of the a sovereign city-state in Southeast Asia. It lies one
country and its degree (137 km) north of the equator, at the southern
geographical location tip of the Malay Peninsula, with Indonesia's Riau
Islands to the south. Singapore's territory consists of
one main island along with 62 other islets. Singapore
occupies an area of 718 km², compared; it is the
smallest state in Southeast Asia, slightly larger than
one fourth of Luxembourg. It shares maritime borders
with Indonesia at the south while at the north
Malaysia. The Jurong Islands, Palau Tekong, Palau
Ubin and Sentosa are the largest of the smaller islands
in Singapore.

The city of Singapore is the capital of the same

state, which is one of the smallest in the world. The
city of Singapore is located on the island of the same
name, an area of 227 square kilometers. On its
territory there are 4.5 million people of different
nationalities and religion. The main unique feature of
the capital, and of the entire state, is the peaceful
existing of Eastern and Western culture, traditions,
customs. There are several distinct regions - Little
India, Chinatown, Muslim district and central business
The capital of the district. Each of them is a kind of small city in the city,
country. Its with its architectural style, lifestyle and traditions. By
infrastructure the way, Singapore has topped a ranking of more than
200 cities around the world in terms of offering the
best infrastructure.
It actively uses renewable energy sources, successfully
develops infrastructure in all parts of the city,
including remote areas, and has created one of the
most convenient transport systems in the world.
Singapore's urbanization means that it has lost 95% of
its historical forests, and now over half of the naturally
occurring fauna and flora in Singapore is present in
nature reserves, such as the Bukit Timah Nature
Reserve. It comprises only 0.25% of Singapore's land
area. The government also allocates a lot of resources
to solve environmental problems. It is appropriate to
add that Singapore was ranked fourth in the 2014
Environmental Performance Index, which measures
the effectiveness of state policies for environmental
sustainability.

Natural conditions. The climate is also an important factor for doing

Climate business. The type of business, working conditions,
and location depend on it. Located just 1degree north
of the equator, Singapore has a tropical rainforest
climate with no distinctive seasons, uniform
temperature and pressure, high humidity, and
abundant rainfall. Temperatures usually range from 22
to 35 °C. Due to its geographical location and oceanic
exposure, Singapore’s climate is characterized by
uniform temperature and pressure, high humidity and
abundant rainfall. Thunderstorms occur on 40% of all
days. Relative humidity is in the range of 70% – 80%.
The island does not has clear-cut seasons like summer,
spring, autumn and winter.
Singapore lies between Malaysia and Indonesia, with a
total area of 693 sq km and a coastline of 193 km.
Geographically, there are three major regions in
Singapore. The west and southwestern parts of the
island consist of, which have formed narrow ridges
(Mount Faber Ridge and Pasir Panjang Ridge). The
eastern part of Singapore is largely flat and sandy. It is
also a rain shadow region and as a result receives less
rainfall than the western region. It boasts of a moving
skyline with many high rise buildings and apartments.
This area also houses the shopping hub, parks and
attractive squares.

The country's economy, in my opinion, plays a

main role in determining business. Singapore has a
highly developed market economy, based historically
on extended trade. Singapore is one of the original
Four Asian Tigers, but has surpassed its peers in terms
of GDP per capita. The Singaporean economy is
known as one of the freest, most innovative, most
dynamic. The economy depends heavily on exports,
Economy, its sectors, particularly of consumer electronics, information
trends technology products, medical and optical devices,
pharmaceuticals, and on its vibrant transportation,
business, and financial services sectors. Globally,
Singapore is a leader in several economic sectors,
including being 3rd-largest foreign exchange canter,
3rd-leading financial center, 2nd-largest casino
gambling market, 3rd-largest oil-refining and trading
center, world's largest oil-rig producer and major hub
for ship repair services, world's top logistics hub. The
economy is varied, with its top contributors – financial
services, manufacturing, oil-refining. Its main exports
are refined petroleum, integrated circuits and
computers which founded 27% of the country's GDP
in 2010, and include significant electronics, petroleum
refining, chemicals, mechanical engineering and
biomedical sciences sectors.

In accordance with the developed economy, the

country has a fairly stable currency. Singapore has one
of the ten largest gold reserves in the world. Singapore
dollar is the official currency of Singapore. It is
Currency. Its divided into 100 cents. It is usually abbreviated to the
economic stability, dollar sign $, or S$ to distinguish it from other dollar

dollar, euro, As of 2016, the Singapore dollar is the twelfth most
hryvnia traded currency in the world by value. The exchange
rate has good indicators. For example, the rate of the
Singaporean dollar to the hryvnia - 0.051, to the euro-
1,605, to the dollar-1,354.
In addition to the local currency, Singapore has a
limited circulation of US dollars, Australian dollars,
Japanese yen and pounds sterling. They can be paid in
many shopping centers and restaurants.

Singapore is a parliamentary republic with a

Westminster system of unicameral parliamentary
government representing constituencies. The country's
constitution establishes a representative democracy as
Socio-political the political system. Executive power rests with the
system. Trends Cabinet of Singapore, led by the Prime Minister and,
to a much lesser extent, the President. The President is
elected through a popular vote, and has veto powers
over a specific set of executive decisions, such as the
use of the national reserves and the appointment of
judges, but otherwise occupies a largely ceremonial
post. The Parliament serves as the legislative branch
of the government. Members of Parliament consist of
elected, non-constituency and nominated members.

multicultural country with ethnic Chinese (76.2%),
indigenous Malays (15.0%), and ethnic Indians (7.4%)
making up the majority of the population.

Singapore has four official languages: English,

Malay, Mandarin Chinese, and Tamil. English is the
common language, and is the language of business,
Official language government, and the medium of instruction in schools.
The perception of Public bodies in Singapore, such as the Singapore
other languages Public Service conducts their business in English, and
official documents written in a non-English official
language such as Malay, Chinese or Tamil typically
have to be translated into English to be accepted for
submission. English is the native tongue for only one-
third of all Singaporeans, third of all Singaporean
Chinese, and half of all Singaporean speaking it as
their native tongue.

The mixed population brings with it a unique,

original culture, religion and traditions. Buddhism is
the most widely practiced religion in Singapore. The
next-most practiced religion is Christianity, followed
by Islam, Taoism, and Hinduism. Despite its small
size, there are many traditions and habits in country,
Religion. National for example:
 Ethnic Chinese shake hands. Their grasp is rather
traditions of
business and secular light although the handshake itself can be rather
etiquette prolonged.
 Men and women do not traditionally shake hands,
since Muslim men do not touch women in public.
It is worth remembering the on etiquette Business
Meeting:
 The most formal way to schedule a meeting is to
write to the person concerned, although most
Singaporeans will schedule an appointment by
telephone, fax, or e-mail.
 Punctuality is a virtue.
 Always send a list of people who will be attending
the negotiations and their title well in advance.
 Your own business cards should be maintained in
pristine condition. Never give someone a tattered
card. Always send a list of people who will be

deadlines.

Tourism in Singapore is a major industry and

contributor to the Singaporean economy, attracting
16.4 million international tourists in 2016, about 3
times of Singapore's total population. It is also
environmentally friendly, and maintains natural and
heritage conservation programs. As English is the
dominant one of its four official languages, it is
generally easier for tourists to understand when
speaking to the local population of the country, for
instance, when shopping. By the way, transport in
Singapore systematically covers most, if not all public
Tourism venues in Singapore, which increases convenience for
tourists. According to the Travel and Tourism
Competitiveness Report 2015 ranks Singapore 11th
out of 141 countries The tourist island of Sentosa,
which attracts 19 million visitors in 2011, is located in
the south of Singapore, consists of about 20–30
landmarks, such as Fort Siloso, which was built as a
fortress to defend against the Japanese during World
War. The report ranks Singapore's business
environment, international openness, also travel and
tourism policy and enabling conditions as the best in
the world (ranked 1st). Among the latest tourists’
attractions built in Singapore includes the two
integrated resorts which houses casinos, namely
Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa, a
Universal Studios theme park and Gardens by the Bay.
Chinatown is a whole mini town among the tall
skyscrapers of Singapore. There are a casino and a
huge shopping center with its own canal and
Singapore's largest swimming pool on the roof of the
center of Little India. Park Gardens near the Gulf is
more than 100 hectares of unique tropical plants.
"Gardens at the Gulf" are famous for their 50-meter
trees and vaults. At the very top of Singapore is the
reserve Bukit Timah. There grow tropical trees, live
birds, monkeys and lizards. In Singapore can find
factually everything from clothes and accessories from
expensive European brands to exotic Japanese
cosmetics and elite Chinese tea. One problem is the
relatively high prices.
Useful information for tourists is that the
importation of drugs into the territory of Singapore is
punishable by the death penalty. In addition, the
import of chewing gum into the country is forbidden.

Speaking about trade, it is worth paying attention to

conditions of trade relations with Ukraine. As of
November 2016, the trade turnover between Ukraine
and Singapore reached USD 63.9 million. US, of
Information on which services amounted to 23.3 million USD (9

location in the very center of Southeast Asia provided
an opportunity to successfully establish the import and
