My Career Goals

Although, I am currently working in Accounts Payable, I would like to gain more experience in
the month end or quarterly closing and standard business operating procedures. My place of
employment is very flexible in what duties I can take on, but I require more experience and
knowledge in these areas before I can move into a new role. My academic career at CCBC will
only help to further the knowledge that I have already obtained. I have previously mentioned my
experience in accounting, but it was from a personal and business tax filing standpoint mainly
during tax season. Although, I enjoyed the work, I knew I would want to do more from an
auditing side after helping with several audits at both my former and current places of
employment so becoming an auditor is my end goal.
