GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE XPS WORKS!

for Windows XP or Vista:

:: install first the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 http://www.microsoft.com/en-
us/download/details.aspx?id=21
:: install also the Microsoft XNA Framework 3.0 http://www.microsoft.com/en-
us/download/details.aspx?id=22588

for Windows 7:
:: install only the Microsoft XNA Framework 3.0 http://www.microsoft.com/en-
us/download/details.aspx?id=22588

for Windows 8:
.NET Framework 4.5 is included with Windows 8 and installed on your computer with
the operating system.
However, the .NET Framework 3.5 is not automatically installed with Windows 8!
you must enable .NET version 3.5 on your computer. There are two ways you can do
this:
:: installing or running an application that requires the .NET Framework 3.5
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/w0x726c2%28v=vs.90%29.aspx (that
is, by installing the .NET Framework 3.5 on demand), or
:: by enabling the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel.
Both options require an Internet connection. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-
us/library/hh506443.aspx
:: install also the Microsoft XNA Framework 3.0 http://www.microsoft.com/en-
us/download/details.aspx?id=22588

for Windows 10:

The same procedure like for Windows 8.
:: enable the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-
us/library/hh506443(v=vs.110).aspx
:: install also the Microsoft XNA Framework 3.0 http://www.microsoft.com/en-
us/download/details.aspx?id=22588
:: Perhaps, run XPS with admin privileges

Now you can unzip XNALara_XPS.zip in a new folder ... or if you update XPS ... over
your last XNALara_XPS folder.
