Fire Water Pumps Fire pump is a part of fire protection system and can be powered by electric or diesel engine, Water used for fire protection shall be drawn from the filtered water storage tank by 1 no of 100% duty electric mator driven fire pumps and the another 1nos of 100% standby diesel tengine driven pumps. The standby diesel engine driven willbe in operation when the main electric motor driven pump fails. The pump provides water flow at higher pressure to water- based fire protection system, foam-water system, hose standpipes and fire hydrants. Fire pumps starts when the pressure inthe fire protection system drops below a threshold. The fire protection system pressure drops significantly when each system is activated by mean of automatic and/or manually operation. The fire water pumps being the main supply consists of; 3.1, 1no. of 100% of Electric Motor Driven Fire Water Main Duty Pump with Motor as per NFPA 20 comprising of: Approvals Casing Impeller Shaft Seal Nominal Duty Driver Controller Miscellaneous UL Listed and FM Approved Cast iron construction Bronze construction HTS construction Soft packed 3000gpm at 10 bar WEG motor, developing 300kW at 1490rpm, S.F 1.15, 400VAC, 3 phase, 50 Hz, mounted on a common base, UL Listed FIRETOL DOL starting controller ciw standard features enclosed in a IPSS enclosure, UL Listed and FM Approved Suction / Discharge gauges, automatic air release valve 3.2, 1 no of 100% of Diesel Engine Driven Fire Water Stand - by Pump with Diesel Engine as per NFPA 20 comprising of Approvals Casing Impeller Shaft Seal Nominal Duty Driver Controller Miscellaneous UL Listed and FM Approved Castiten sonucion Bronze construction HTS construction Soft packed 3000gpm at 10 bar CLARKE Engine, developing 298KW aD mounted on a common base, UL Listed and FM Approved FIRETOL Diese!
