USES: This medication is used to treat acute asthma and other lung problems in which the air passages can
become narrowed.

HOW TO USE: Learn how to properly use this drug and maintain the breathing device. Consult your doctor or
pharmacist. The medicine is generally breathed in over a 15 minute period or as directed. Breath quietly and
slowly from the machine for the maximum benefit. Use as directed (generally only as needed). Dosage is based
on your condition and response. Do not use more of this medication than prescribed. If the effects of a dose last
for less than 3 hours or your medicines are not working as well as usual, seek immediate medical attention. Also
promptly report increased use of this drug. These are signs of worsening breathing problems. If you are using
this drug on a regular schedule without any other breathing medicines, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

SIDE EFFECTS: Shakiness, nervousness, dizziness, headache, or cough may occur. If these effects persist or
worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Unlikely but report promptly: chest pain, fast or slow pulse. Very unlikely
but report promptly: muscle cramping, unusual weakness. In the unlikely event you have a serious allergic
reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction include: rash,
itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your
doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, including: any allergies, heart diseases, blood vessel
disorders, high blood pressure, thyroid problems (hyperthyroid), glaucoma, diabetes. Limit alcohol intake as it
may aggravate drug side effects. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.
Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known whether this drug is excreted into breast milk.
Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Caution is advised when this drug is used in the elderly as this group
may be more sensitive to drug side effects.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use,
especially: other adrenaline- like drugs (e.g., pseudoephedrine), anticholinergics (e.g., benztropine), xanthine
products (e.g., theophylline, caffeine), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), "water pills" (diuretics- e.g.,
furosemide), beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol), MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, selegiline, phenelzine,
moclobemide, linezolid, procarbazine), certain antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline). Do not start or stop any
medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room
immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents
should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include fast or irregular
heartbeat.

NOTES: Do not share this medication with others.

MISSED DOSE: This drug is generally prescribed only as needed. For chronic daily use, consult your doctor
or pharmacist for missed dose advice. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

STORAGE: Bottles: Store unopened bottles at room temperature 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light
and moisture. Opened bottles may be stored at room temperature for 30 days. Single use vials: Store unopened
vials at room temperature away from light and moisture. Discard vials after one use. Do not freeze.
