EDU360: Advisory Project Cynthia Wolfe Middle Childhood: SS and ELA

Description: After reading chapter 5 of “The Exemplary Middle School” and the resources from the Catholic Middle
School Teacher, students from EDU 360 will create an advisory activity inspired by the Two feet of Love and Multimedia
Youth Contest. Students must decide if their advisory project will consist of a multi-grade band or one grade level, and
then they must design their advisory project accordingly.

Students must include the following components in this assignment:

1. Create a handout that explains the goals of the activity and the expectations/goals.

2. Using the textbook as a resource, create a short summary, addressed to families, that would be posted on a school
web page explaining the project-its goals and activities-as well as the importance of advisory groups.

Comments: Your Flyer is beautiful! I love the fact that this applies to a very recent tragedy-what a beautiful way to
employ the two feet of love-charitable works and social justice-to build unity and respect for religious freedom.
