SYNOPSIS

1.1 INTRODUCTION

A museum is a public space where everyone irrespective of age can enter


and get inspired. Its an institution that cares for collection of
artifacts. One of the fundamental objective of museum is to educate.
Architectural Museum is a unique repository and a dynamic hub of
research into architectural and built environment history. There is no
place in India Multiple architects works are preserved, researched and
exhibited on a permanent basis.

1.2 FEASIBILITY
The understanding of architecture varies between architects and the
public. Every person is directly or indirectly affected by any piece of
architecture, just that majority of them dont realize what is it about
architecture thats affecting them and how.
A hypothetical project at the Queen of Arabian sea, Kochi.

1.3 AIM

The aim is to design a architectural museum that will exhibit the


architecture marvels of the past, accomplishments of the present and the
vision for the future. The experience will involve weaving of all the
three phases of time, a time-line to dive into. This experience of a time-
line will be translated into architecture.

1.4 OBJECTIVE

1.To understand how to design spaces for history and contemporary works.
2.To explore the design aspects of landscaping in museums.
3.To design and integrate spaces embodying different styles.
