The SFA Lumberjacks lost against the Lamar Cardinals 67-82 in Saturday’s Southland

Conference Game at William R. Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches.

The game began with Lamar’s Jordan Hunter making a three-point shot during the first

30 seconds of the game. SFA was able to make a short comeback, with Kevon Harris making

two free-throw shots, allowing the Lumberjacks to catchup to the Cardinals.

By half time, the Cardinals were leading the Lumberjacks 45-29.

During the second half of the game, the Cardinals were able to keep their lead, scoring a

total of 37 points.

The Lumberjacks were able to catch up to the Cardinals, but it was not enough against

the Lamar defense.

Lamar kept its lead against the Lumberjacks, winning the game.

Kevon Harris was named the game’s MVP, scoring a total of 32 points for the

Lumberjacks. SFA will next play the McNeese State Cowboys 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at SFA’s

William R. Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches.
