Game Story 3

The SFA Lumberjacks are out of the Southland Conference as they lose to the Sam

Houston Bobcats 57-68 at William R. Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches.

On Saturday’s Senior Night game, the Lumberjacks started the game out strong with

Shannon Bogues making the first 3-point shot of the game within the first three minutes.

However, this lead didn’t last long for the Lumberjacks.

By halftime, the Bobcats had taken the lead against the Lumberjacks 30-34.

In the second half of the game, the Bobcat’s kept their lead with Josh Delaney scoring a

total of 11 points.

The Lumberjacks were also able to score some points, but it wasn’t enough against the

Bobcat defense. The Bobcats kept their lead and won 57-68.

SFA now goes into the off season to prepare for the first game of the 2019-2020 season.
