Basic Configuration.
Configure each router with all typical configuration items. These include (but not limited to):
- router names,
- logins passwords (e.g. telnet),
- interface descriptions,
- host table,
- and a MOTD banner to be displayed before login,
- and IP host name mapping

Basic Configuration Testing.
Test connectivity to all interfaces. Which interfaces are possible to connect?

- Create a named access-list that denies telnet and ping from loopback 0 on R3 to
loopback 0 on R2.
- Also deny telnet and ping from loopback 1 on R3 to loopback 1 on R2. You should
always be able to telnet and ping to the serial interface on R2 from any source.
Hint: An access-list configured on a router will not be applied to traffic originating on that
router or an interface of that router.
Telnet
The individual will be graded on the following performance items. These items may be performed on any
of the workstations or routers. This part is pass/fail.
