(WARMING UP)
Ok. Get your books and pencil out.
Today, we’re going to learn about parts of our
body
Our body has some parts which are different from
one to another. And each of them has its own
function.
Do you know which part of our body that we use
to see something?
Yes, ...
Correct. We use our eyes to see something.
Then, which part of our body that we use to hear?
Yes, ...
Great. We use our ears to hear something.
(LESSON)
All that you have mentioned before were some
examples of part of our body.
Now, I need one student to come forward and help
me. ...., please come forward.
Allright, ... will be the model to explain about part
of our body.
...., please follow me.
This is head. Head consists of hair, ear, eye, nose,
and mouth.
Because we have more than one hair, ear and eye,
we have to add –s at the end of each word. (write
the word in the board)
Below the head is neck
Under the neck is shoulder. How many shoulder
do we have?
(Two) So, we have to add –s at the end of the word
or not?
(yes) Good.
This is arm. We have two arms, which each of it
consists of elbow (siku), and hand.
Each hand consists of five fingers.
Under the shoulder is chest
After chest, there is stomach
This is thighs. It is ended with –s because we have
two thighs.
This little part is knee
This part until this part is foot. Because we have
two foot, we say that we have two feet.
Thank you, .... . You may sit down
For more examples, you can open your book page
23.
Look at the picture on page 23. There is a picture
of human body and each name of it. I give you 15
minutes to read it.
(After 15 minutes)
Is there any question?
Now, please make a group of two and tell your
friends about part of human body in turns.
Is it clear?
You may start now.
(The teacher approaches to each group and
observes if the students have understood the
material or not)
