Additional information:

 The contract will be for six months , with an option for extension if needed.

The below are the criteria required in the candidate:


 Supporting Micro Soft Windows operating systems- Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, Windows XP,
Windows 7 Technologies
 Sound Technical Knowledge on VMware – Administration and Support
 Basic Knowledge on Netapp administration
 Networking fundamentals
 Hardware knowledge on HP, Dell & Netapp storage
 ITIL v3 Foundation (certified)
 Remote administration support skills
 Veritas, Netbackup & Networker /Legato backup environment support
 Understand and follow BP’s standard systems and processes including Health & Safety
(Relevant trainings will be provided by BP)
 Communicate clearly and concisely with users and Level II support teams
 Share knowledge within the network
 Escalate when appropriate to avoid any SLA/OLA breaches
 Co-ordinate with local vendors for supplies and services
 Good team player
 Good command of the English language, familiarity with Arabic would be an advantage
 Very good communications skills, both verbal and written in English
 Good Knowledge on ITIL framework- Service Desk, Incident, problem, change and configuration
management
 Basic Project management skills
