The contract will be for six months , with an option for extension if needed.
The below are the criteria required in the candidate:
Supporting Micro Soft Windows operating systems- Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, Windows XP, Windows 7 Technologies Sound Technical Knowledge on VMware – Administration and Support Basic Knowledge on Netapp administration Networking fundamentals Hardware knowledge on HP, Dell & Netapp storage ITIL v3 Foundation (certified) Remote administration support skills Veritas, Netbackup & Networker /Legato backup environment support Understand and follow BP’s standard systems and processes including Health & Safety (Relevant trainings will be provided by BP) Communicate clearly and concisely with users and Level II support teams Share knowledge within the network Escalate when appropriate to avoid any SLA/OLA breaches Co-ordinate with local vendors for supplies and services Good team player Good command of the English language, familiarity with Arabic would be an advantage Very good communications skills, both verbal and written in English Good Knowledge on ITIL framework- Service Desk, Incident, problem, change and configuration management Basic Project management skills
