Casual Leave (CL)

a) All permanent employees are eligible for 8 days casual leave at the discretion of management per calendar year to be
calculated on pro rata. (Calendar year is Jan1st to December 31st)
b) CL cannot be accumulated. The unused CL must be encashed at the end of the calendar year. Any unclaimed CL will be
forfeited. The encashment will be made on Basic pay. The encashment of CL can be availed only by those employees who
are in the employment of the company. CL for the current calendar year will be credited to the account of eligible employees
in the beginning of the Calendar year on 1st January by Corporate HR department.
c) CL cannot be granted for more than 3 days at a time.
d) During probation period, employee is not entitled to avail of CL.
e) CL cannot be combined with PL or SL or vice versa.
f) CL can be suffixed or prefixed (but not both) with weekly holiday and declared holiday as long as the total number of days
absence from work does not exceed 3 days. E.g. In case weekly holiday is on Sunday & Tuesday is a declared holiday, and
then CL can be granted either on Saturday or Monday but not on the both days.
