An enviable test score, an impeccable academic record and a couple of years of work experience or, sometimes,
even the lack of it, suffice in fetching an interview call from almost all elite business schools. However, success in
securing admission offers, from thereon, depends almost exclusively on one’s personality, conduct in personal
interview (PI) and group discussion (GD), and performance in written ability test (WAT). While it may seem that the
skills needed to outperform rivals in PI or GD or WAT are not intricately interlinked, a careful scrutiny would reveal
that all of these are driven by one’s attitude, thought process, creativity, and above all, personality.

To most, cultivating an attitude, building a thought-process, internalizing creativity, and developing personality may
appear to be more of a myth than reality. However, at Backspace, we have discovered for ourselves that it is entirely
possible to chisel one’s personality and fine-tune one’s ability to think creatively.

Our flagship program, Breakspace, formerly known as PDPbyPPD, has been carefully designed to create a self-
propelling and a self-nurturing you as we intend to create a transformation that lasts. To achieve this, we have
creatively designed the coursework that includes, but is not limited to,
 consulting/ classroom sessions
 knowledge material for preparation
 application essays editing
 written ability assignments
 mock personal interviews
 group discussions

Each of the exhaustive modules is finely integrated to facilitate a unique process so that you never feel the rigors
you will be exposed to during the season and yet attain the proficiency that stands out and delivers. Our rigorous
regime is innovatively formulated to not exhaust, but to delight you. If you find yourself frequently paralyzed by
your inability to articulate or if you are often curtailed by your inhibitions, we work to cure that.

The above program is priced at INR 20,000. If in installments, you must pay INR 15,000 in the first installment and
INR 7,000 within one month of the date of payment of the first installment. If you fail to pay within the stipulated
date, you shall be liable to pay a rate of interest equal to 5% per month.
 Terms and Conditions

Code of Conduct
1. The individual is expected to keep his/ her biases -- insofar as they pertain to race, class, caste, sex, gender,
orientation, appearance -- to himself/ herself, as the case may be. He/ She shall not ridicule anyone else's lack of skills
in any subject or discipline in any way, shape, manner, or form whatsoever.

2. The individual shall adhere to the schedule and the deadlines meant for submission of assignments under any and/
or all circumstances. The penalty for missing a deadline – depending on the assignment – shall range from INR 100 to
INR 5000, and may even extend to the individual’s termination from the program.

3. The individual shall not submit a work copied from somewhere else. This includes, but is not limited to, both
offline and online resources. However, research with proper citations is allowed. Plagiarism is not tolerated at
Breakspace, and may lead to your immediate termination from the program.

4. The individual shall not remain absent from a scheduled session, online or offline, without prior intimation: at least
ONE hour in advance. Failure to adhere to this rule may lead to the individual’s immediate termination from the
program.

5. The individual shall upload the transcript of his/ her simulated/ actual interview in Breakspace’s relevant online
group within 48 hours of the commencement of the interview. Failure to adhere to this rule shall attract a fine,
which may range from INR 100 to INR 5000 and may even lead to the individual’s termination from the program.

6. The individual shall be sanctioned if he/ she turns up late for a session/ simulated interview. The sanction, in this
case, may be:
a) a fine ranging from INR 100 to INR 5000
AND/OR
b) Termination of the concerned individual from the program.

The nature of the sanction depends on the discretion of the mentor. Additionally, the individual in question shall not
be allowed to appear for the said session/ interview. Exceptions, if any, shall be made for extreme circumstances.
Here, what constitutes ‘extreme’ depends upon the discretion of the mentor.

7. The individual shall be sanctioned if his/ her mobile phone is found ringing during a session/ simulated interview.
The sanction, in this case, may be:
a) a fine ranging from INR 100 to INR 5000
AND/OR
b) Termination of the concerned individual from the program.

The nature of the sanction depends on the discretion of the mentor.

8. The individual shall hold confidential information, such as interview transcripts, in confidence.
9. An individual, who through his actions (express or implied) brings Breakspace, its management, its employees,
his/ her fellow students into disrepute, shall be terminated from the program with immediate effect.

10. The individual is expected to understand that we do not guarantee success. Here the term ‘success’ includes, but
is not strictly limited to, getting a call from a business school and converting the said call.

11. The individual willingly agrees to allow us to publish the results on social media platforms once he/ she is selected
by any of the prestigious educational institutions/ business schools.

12. We don’t authorize anyone to share or discuss any vital information about our firm: any information that may
financially and/ or morally hamper the credentials of the firm. Further, we are free to launch criminal investigation if
any such case comes to our notice. Here, what constitutes ‘vital information’ is dependent solely on the discretion of
the management of the firm.

Indemnification
13. You agree to defend and indemnify us, and hold us and our affiliates harmless, and our and their respective
directors, officers, agents, contractors, and employees against any losses, liabilities, claims, expenses (including legal
fees) in any way arising from, related to, or in connection with your use of our website, your violation of the Terms
and Conditions, or posting or transmission of any materials on or through the website by you, including but not
limited to, any third-party claim that any information or material provided by you infringe upon any third-party
proprietary rights.

Waiver
14. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver
of such right or provision. A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default. No
waiver by us is effective unless it is communicated to you in writing under company’s stamp and on letterhead with
signature of the authorized signatory.

Consent
15. Knowledge and consent are required for the collection, use, or disclosure of Personal Information except where
required or permitted by law. Providing us with your Personal Information is always your choice. However, your
decision to not provide certain information may limit our ability to provide you with our products and/ or services.

Safeguarding Customer Information

16. Personal Information shall be protected by security safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the
information. We take all reasonable precautions to protect your Personal Information from any loss or unauthorized
use, access, or disclosure. Even after taking the above-mentioned precautions, if in case any kind of information is
accessed, used and/ or misused by any foreign entity/ individual, we will not take any financial or moral responsibility
of the same.
Payment Policy
17. All payments should be done through banking channels viz., online transfer, pay order, demand draft, or account
payee check.

18. Payment date for payment through account payee check would be considered on the date of credit in our
account.

No Refund Policy
19. Once any service is availed, we do not refund under any circumstances. The services are provided with
explanatory details. An individual is expected to make a careful decision before making a purchase. Upon purchase,
we reserve the right to not refund under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, any circumstance
wherein the candidate has been terminated from the program.

All the matters are subject to Kolkata jurisdiction only.
