15 JBT cannot be held responsible for delays in the planning due to:
16 Delays in order confirmation & Downpayment
17 Incomplete/faulty specifications (for example can, cover, seam, product
specifications)
18 Delays in receipt of samples (engineering samples / FAT samples)
19 Delays in design/layout/specification approvals. Response should be
received in 5 days period
20 Scope changes after order confirmation
21 Special requests regarding FAT (currently 1 day in Belgium in foreseen
for FAT completion)
22 Custom clearance issues
23 Inland transport delays
24 Unfinished civil works
25 Unfinished piping works and CIP preparation
26 Any obstruction for putting equipment in position
27 Absence of hoisting and lifting equipment
28 Missing utility provisions (electricity, gas, air, …)
29 Delays in raw material supply (can, cover, product)
30 Raw material quality problems (for example: damaged cans out of JBT
scope)
31 Absence of required resources from customer’s side.

34 Any delay caused by the above may reflect in a delay in the overall planning.

36 The SAT-results will be accepted when fulfilling the 3 performance criteria
per contract: filling accuracy, speed and efficiency. Other (minor)
acceptance criteria may not delay the acceptance of the SAT.
