For the entrance exam, a proof of German language competence is not neces-
sary. But successful applicants for a degree programme are requested to provide
a German language certificate (at least CEF level A2) during the enrolment
procedure. Within one year, written evidence of level B1 has to be provided.

Before entering Austria, please check the relevant immigration laws and regu-
lations regarding visas and residence titles. You will find detailed information
