My unsubscribe does not work

HI Guys, for the first time ever i have send out an email and the unsubscribe does not w ork i get the
follow ing error message “Invalid address: http://phplist/?p=unsubscribe&
uid=76e42f92b03b168f84fd32675b894d99”

Hi @sabrahamse

It looks as if you haven’t set up your config correctly have a look at

( as SuperAdmin ) Config -> Settings …scroll dow n to Subscription Settings, about 3/4 dow n the page,
and confirm you have the correct info re you w ebsite and path.

If still not w orking have a look at $pageroot in your config file.

OK that gives you http://phplist/ so try

$pageroot = ‘/w w w.isotrainingza.com/phplist’

and see w hat happens

@sabrahamse The likely cause of the problem are some of the values on the Settings page. Check the
values for “w ebsite address” and, as mentioned before, the values in the “Subscription settings” group.

HI all, I did all the steps as per the forum but still have an error. Only thing i can think of is that the link in a
pre existing email does not w ork?

@sabrahamse Making changes isn’t going to affect an old email. Do you have the problem if you send a
test email?

eish guys after all these changes, i tried setting up a small email as a test but the server keeps bouncing
me out to the w ordpress site sayin it does not exist.Using a start a new campaign in the phplist gives me
this error http://w w w .isotrainingza.com/w w w .isotrainingza.com/phplist/admin/?page=send&

@sabrahamse You seem to have made a mess of the settings.

$pageroot should be '/phplist’
w ebsite address is simply your domain, w w w .isotrainingza.com

but then check that the urls in the Subscription settings group are still correct.

I changed $pageroot should be ‘/phplist’ in my config.php file and changed

the w ebsite address in the configuration setting in phplist.

Where w ill i find the urls for the subscription setting group?

So $pageroot is set to '/phplist’

w eb site is set to w w w .isotrainingza.com
and the unsubscribe url is http://w w w .isotrainingza.com/phplist/?p=unsubscribe

When you then send a test email w hat is now the problem?

Hi Good evening. I found the problem: in the settings menu the system keeps duplicating the [WEBSITE]
[WEBSITE] for example http://[WEBSITE]/[WEBSITE]/phplist/?p=confirm.

I have updated it but w hen i log in again it is back
