My name is Vinicius Batista de Sousa, 27 years old, electronic technician since
2011 and with graduation expectation in first half of 2020 as Electrical Engineer at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). I live in Brazil and work at Petrobras since 2012 as utilities operator in a refinery, sector responsible for water treatment, electrical power and steam generation, where I apply the knowledge gained in my graduation to facilitate routine activities and optimizing the process controllers tune with my conclusion project that apply the data-driven controller design using the one shot method to define the ideal controller to the plant. At this stage of my live, with the engineer title and the sales process of my current workplace, I feel that is the best moment to try something new, improve my foreign languages and acquire new cultures, choosing Germany and France to search job opportunities. I have no English fluency but I have a large vocabulary and grammatical knowledge, so I think that practicing in an exchange experience I'll get there. And now I'm studying German and expect to reach the B1 or B2 proficiency level until the end of 2020. Based on my experience, I'm looking for jobs in an industrial environment as electrical engineer working with process control, automation, motors, sensors, maintenance, optimization of machines or plants and power generation or transmission. I have a great logical thinking, high engagement in challenging projects, some leadership and R&D skills but I think I am not ready to work with that yet. And I have facility with programmer languages, I already made some solutions with softwares but I have never worked with IT.
