November 18, 2019 ‘To Whom it may Concem: My name is Stacey Christiansen and I have known Micah Walker for 15 years. T was his Sunday ‘School teacher when he reached fifth and sixth grade, he now babysits my children and I work closely with him in various church-related activities. [ have had the privilege of watching him grow into an exceptional young man. I consider him a close friend, I know Micah to be a very kind, respectful and caring person. He always has a smile on his face ” and he loves to make others laugh. He lights up a room with his cheerfulness. He is very conscientious around others, valuing each individual he comes across. During youth events at our church he is always making sure that all the youth are included, especially the “outsiders”, ‘who may be shy or awkward. He has a special gift to help people be included, He treats everyone with dignity and care. People are drawn to him. We also participate in a homeschool co-op that Micah is involved in. He is always willing to help ‘out any person that he sees needing a hand, whether they are a child or an adult. He is a very active participant in the various classes and activities. He has participated in the spring musicals for many years, my favorite being last year when he Was “Chef Louis” in “The little Mermaid”. He practiced countless hours to play that role perfectly. His efforts paid off, as many people in the audience commented that he “stole the show’. He is exceptionally hard-working. In his current job he babysits every week during the church staff meetings and prayer gathering. My children, ages 4 and 6, love coming, because they get to be with “Mr. Micah”. He engages them and is able to communicate with them at their level. He is able to guide them to make good choices in a loving way. He also sets up the church for the various functions that occur throughout the week and runs the sound system.
