This has reference to the Advertisements as referred above in connection with
recruitment of various Executive Posts in OMECL and the detailed terms & conditions
thereto as uploaded / published in OMECL website i.e.omecl.in.
Certain Addendum/ Corrigendum to the above advertisements are incorporated
as under:
(A) 1. The corresponding terms & conditions as detailed under “Eligibility Criteria”
and “Selection Methodology” pertaining to the candidature of OMC / OMECL
employees for their application, if any, for any post in OMECL be read as under:

Description of item No.2 in the Note under ‘Eligibility Criteria’ is substituted

as under:
 However, the application of OMC employees, who are already in regular
service of OMC as on 01.10.2012, will be considered for any post in
OMECL on account of acquiring higher qualification like AMIE (A&B) &
other relevant qualifications through correspondence courses.
Description of item No.3 & 4 under ‘Selection Methodology’ is substituted
as under:
 The eligible employees of OMC / OMECL may apply for any post in
OMECL and in that event they must submit the application through proper
channel.
 The candidature of OMC / OMECL employees fulfilling the prescribed
eligibility criteria for any post in OMECL will be considered for short listing
for personal interview. For eligible OMC/OMECL employees applying for a
post in a particular cadre, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to
maximum of 10 years if they belong to the corresponding/same cadre in
OMC/OMECL. The candidature of OMC / OMECL employees, fulfilling the
prescribed eligibility and other criteria will be shortlisted for personal
interview beyond the ratio as mentioned above.
2. All other terms and conditions pertaining to non OMC/OMECL candidates shall
remain unchanged.
(B) Further it is clarified that the Application Form for advertised post in OMECL is
furnished in Annexure -I of the detailed terms and conditions given in OMECL website
against Advertisement No. 05 dt 22.11.2019, No. 6 dt 22.11.2019 and No. 7 dt
22.11.2019.
