The development process in the conduct of this study presents in the


form of paradigm. The researcher will use Dependent Variable and
Independent Variable. Figure 1 shows the Resilience Quotient and
Performance Commitment of head teachers in the Three District schools in
the Division of Zambales.

The Independent variables block consists of Performance


Leadership Style and Resilient Quotient. The dependent variable focuses on
the Performance Commitment rate.

Definitions of Terms

The following definitions terms are conceptually defined through


the help of various reading resources.

Resilient - The ability to withstand, adapt to or rebound from,


extreme, challenges or adversity.

Resilient Quotient - It measures a range of characteristics that


enable people to cope well under stress and bounce back from adversity.

- Is a psychometric tool that provides detailed


measure of resilience for individuals and
teams.
Leadership Style - are the behavioral patterns that a leader adopt to
influence the behavior of his followers, i.e. the way he gives directions to
his subordinates and motivates them to accomplish the given objectives.

Commitment - is defined as the level of enthusiasm an employee


has towards his/her tasks assigned at a workplace.

-It is the feeling of responsibility that a person has


towards the goals, mission, and vision of the organization he/she is
associated with.

Performance – The accomplishment of a given tasks measured


against preset known standards of accuracy, completeness, cost and speed.

-is deemed to be the fulfillment of an obligation, in


a manner that releases the performer from the liabilities under the contract.
