SIRIUS - High Speed Steel

SPECIFICITY
This generation of high speed steel
grade is especially dedicated to
roughing mill applications or early
finishing stands of CSP ® Mills. It is
characterized by a high content of
alloying elements like Cr, Mo, W and V.
Compared to the Chromium steel grade,
this grade offers not only an enhanced
wear resistance but also an improved
high temperature strength and a good
resistance to fire cracks. This grade is
also well adapted for the rolling of
special steels like stainless steel grades
and provides excellent surface quality
X 100 X 500 and extended campaign time.
