INTRODUCTION ‘The Insitute considers industry sponsored rex ch work, consultancy & testing as important activites to achieve several objectives such as ‘+ Comtibuting to the infastrvctal& industrial growth of the Nation and for welfare ofthe human society, ‘+ Fostering industry institut interaction, ‘Helping students for ther industrial orientation, + Enhancing professional expertise ofthe faculty members end technical sta, * Generating fands forthe institute's development and academe growth ofthe faculty, ‘+ Developing insight for practical feasibility in research, and ‘+ Providing service to the communitysociety, ‘Therefore, as a matter of policy, the insite encourages its faculty members to undertake research and consultancy work. The under graduate students may also be encouraged to be involved as student associates in such work.
