PM Live – Round I

The world is entering an era involving an ecosystem of smart products. Technology companies are
now building products that leverage multiple devices such as Mobile Phones, Smart Watches, Smart
Speakers and other IoT devices.
Pick any one of the following applications, and propose a new set of features/capabilities to augment
the company’s core services using any of the devices listed above. Describe the user problem, the
feature you propose and how it fits in within the ecosystem of devices.
Companies:
1. Cult.Fit
Cult is a Bengaluru-based fitness start-up focused on training programmes that use no machines or
equipment. Imagine how can different devices be exploited to help cult in their core aim of changing
the fitness landscape of India. Training and tracking the progress for athletes is facilitated by the apps
like Runtastic and Fitbod. How can smart watches and speakers be used in sync with mobile apps to
provide a more holistic experience to customers?

2. Practo
Practo helps consumers locate doctors and healthcare information. It is a platform for finding a doctor
and also includes information provided by doctors and a Q&A feature for soliciting advice or basic
answers. As novel smart devices emerge to measure blood sugar and heart rate data like GlucoWise and
the Reflex Smartwatch available in the market, how can Practo’s services be augmented through these
devices or other smart watches/speakers?

3. Yatra
Yatra has launched 'YUVA' which stands for Yatra Universal Virtual Assistant. The unique ‘hybrid
approach’ allows a user to use both voice and text to communicate with YUVA and complete a booking
on the go. How can more of such services be built using smart devices to augment Yatra?

You will be judged on the following criteria :

1. Novelty of the suggested features
2. Business use case
3. Technical feasibility
