Hack for using a different style of closure

Each step goes along with the sections and numbers in the pattern.

Cutting
Cut the card slots a ½” shorter. It will need to be 7 ¾” x 13 ½”.

Magnetic snap placement

3. The female side of your magnetic snap will
be placed at 6”.

1. Line A will start at 2”. Then follow the
remaining instructions on the pattern.

8. Card slots need to be placed ¾” up from the

bottom.

 Assembling exterior and lining main panels

1. Instead of folding it up to ½” below the top,

fold it to 1” below the top.

7. Fold the longer top edge of the flap under ¼” and the shorter edge under a ½”. Repeat for
both exterior and lining.

9. You will want to install the part of your closure that will be on the flap. Next figure out
where the other side needs to go on the bag. After both sides have been installed you will
go back to step 9 on the pattern.
