A HEN HER CHILDREN

Once Upon a time there was an old hen who had many children. She loved her
children very much.
Once the hen sat on ducks’ eggs, and when the ducklings came out, she was very
much pleased. Only she wondered why they had such large funny bills.
The mother hen said to the ducklings, “ I don’t know who your father is, but I love you
all the same.
One day the mother hen took her ducklings out for a walk. When they came to a
pond, the ducklings at once went into the water and swam out.
The mother hen was very much frightened
The mother hen was not fightened now. She was very glad to see her children
swim over the water.
One day she sat on her own eggs; and when her young chikens came out, she was
very much pleased, too. After a few days, she also took them to the pond. She wanted to
see them swim. But the young ones were afraid of the water and would not go down the
pond.
The mother hen was very angry with them.
“why don’t you swim, my stupid children?” she cried “you see how beautifully your
brothers swim over there.”
She took two of them into the pond. Of course they were drowned, the poor young
things.
 SEEKOR AYAM BETINA DAN ANAKNYA

Alkisah suatu waktu ada ayam tua yang punya banyak anak. Dia mencintai anak-
anaknya sangat banyak.
Setelah ayam itu duduk di telur itik, dan ketika anak itik keluar, dia sangat senang.
Hanya ia bertanya-tanya mengapa mereka harus seperti tagihan lucu besar.
Induk ayam berkata kepada bebek, "Saya tidak tahu siapa ayahmu, tapi aku
mencintai kalian semua sama.
Suatu hari induk ayam mengambil anak itik keluar jalan-jalan. Ketika mereka
sampai di kolam, para bebek sekaligus masuk ke air dan berenang.
Induk ayam itu sangat takut
Induk ayam tidak fightened sekarang. Dia sangat senang melihat anak-anaknya
berenang di atas air.
Suatu hari ia duduk di telur sendiri, dan ketika chikens mudanya keluar, dia sangat
senang juga. Setelah beberapa hari, ia juga membawa mereka ke kolam. Dia ingin
melihat mereka berenang. Tapi yang muda takut air dan tidak akan turun kolam.
Induk ayam sangat marah dengan mereka.
"Kenapa tidak Anda berenang, anak-anak bodoh saya?" Serunya "Anda melihat
bagaimana indah saudara Anda berenang di sana."
Dia mengambil dua dari mereka ke dalam kolam. Tentu saja mereka
ditenggelamkan, hal-hal muda miskin.
