Complete the second violin and viola parts according to the figures for the eight measures below,
and provide roman numerals for this music. Note: “2” is an alternate figured bass style for what
you usually see as 4/2 (i.e., a third inversion seventh chord). Finally, imagine these eight
measures as the A section of a continuous rounded binary, and rewrite the music as an eight
measure A’ section that ends in F major. Continue to write in open score, using your own
manuscript paper. You don’t need to recompose the entire passage: since the form is rounded,
the first four measures don’t need to change!
