Annexure A

Program schedule is to taper down dosage of drugs in 5 steps. There are 5-


program schedule A, B, C, D and E, you can program the flow rate & volume (or) Flow
rate & Time (or) Volume & Time.

Follow the below mentioned steps to set the parameters, run the machine.

1. TO ENTER INTO PROGRAM SCHEDULE MODE:

Press PROG key to enter the program mode and ensure ‘Prog’ on display for 2
seconds.
Ensure ‘A 0.0’ on display. A to E is the identification for the five programs, and also it
indicates that you are in the program mode.

Press mode key to view the parameters in each program.

Press PROG key to get in to the next program.

After the last (E) program, press PROG key to get out from the program schedule
mode.

1.1 TO SET THE PROGRAM PARAMETERS:

Setting is possible during RUN mode as well as STOP mode.

During SET mode, after releasing the SET key only it will get out from the Program
schedule mode.

1. Press SET key and ensure SET LED flashes.

2. Use keys to set required Ml/Hr on display.

3. Press MODE key and ensure Hr.mt LED flashes green.

4. Use keys and set the required time limit on display.


5. Press PROG key again to enter in to the next program setting like B, C, D
and E; Method to set the parameters in each program will be the same as above
said.
6. Release from SET mode by pressing SET key, it will save all the set
parameters and come to the normal mode.

1.2 TO RUN THE PUMP ON PROGRAM SCHEDULE:

Enter the Program schedule mode. Go to the program, from which the pump should
start to run.

Run
Press Stop key and ensure the RUN LED flashes.

After the target volume/ target time reached, pump will run in KVO mode. i.e. AL 2 and
“0.1vo” will alternatively display and pump will run in the set KVO flow rate.

1.3 TO SET LESS THAN 5 PROGRAMS:

Set only the last programs 4 {B, C, D and E} (or) 3 {C, D and E} (or) 2 {D & E}

(Or) 1 {Only E}, skip the initial programs by simply pressing the PROG key.

2.0 TO VIEW PCA DATA’S:

1. Ensure STOP LED glows red on stop mode.

2. Press PCA key, ‘Prs’ and the ‘Number of pressing of PCA switch’ will be d

displayed alternatively.

3. Again press PCA key, ‘Act’ and the ‘Number of Activation of PCA’ will be

displayed alternatively.

4. Again press PCA key, the time duration between two pressings of PCA switch

will be displayed and ensure Hr.mt LED glows. The flashing of display indicates the
activation of PCA, constant display indicates the pressing of PCA and no activation was
there. For the next 20 pressing, the duration of the last 20 pressing will be displayed.

5. To get out from this view mode, before viewing 20 intervals, Press any other key.

3.0 PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS

The user can set programming Instructions.

Switch RS2 ‘ON’; fix syringe and press CONF key.

Press SET key to release from set mode.

Press BUZZER OFF key and then press SET Key simultaneously for 2 seconds.

3.1. SET BUZZER VOLUME PROGRAM:

Ensure display shows the volume level from OFF-9 Followed by letter “b”.

Press Left key and set the required buzzer level.

3.2. SET OCCLUSION SENSITIVITY PROGRAM:

After pressing the Decimal increment key one time, Ensure display shows the
Occlusion level form OFF-9 followed by letter “O”.

Press Left key and set the required Occlusion level.

3.3. SET DEFAULT DATA PROGRAM:

After pressing the Decimal increment key two times, Ensure display shows the
Default data mode ON/OFF, followed by letter “d”.

Press Left key and set the required mode level.

Note:

Default ON – When we switch off and on the pump, pump will on with default
(Previous running) data.

Default OFF – No Previous running data will be there.

3.4. SET BOLUS PROGRAM:

After pressing the Decimal increment key three times, Ensure display shows the
Bolus mode A/P, followed by letter “bo”.

Press Left key and set the required bolus mode.


Note: A – Auto Bolus.
P – Purge bolus.

3.5. SET KVO FLOW RATE PROGRAM:

After pressing the Decimal increment key four times, Ensure display shows the
Kvo flow rate from 0.0 – 9.9 (mL/Hr), followed by letter “vo”.

Press Left key and set the required bolus mode.
