has planned to conduct an entire day “HOTEL AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT AND
HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT DAY” with the theme: “BUILDING GOOD COMPANIONSHIP
TO DEVELOP SELF-CONFIDENCE” for all Hospitality Management Students which will
happen on August 29, 2019 (Thursday) from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Audio Visual Room
(Morning) and DCC Gymnasium. The program sights to show cast students’ talent, boost their
self-confidence, and develop fellowship towards everyone.

Along with this, we are humbly requesting for your approval to make this goal possible. Attached

I. RATIONALE:
The Officers of Hotel and Restaurant Management and Hospitality
Management of Davao Central College has a vital role to the HM students’ body
creating activities that will contribute a great influence towards the excellence and
appreciation of creativity in accepting individual differences of every student. Geared
with passion to serve, the new selected officers of Hotel and Restaurant
Management Hospitality Management Department will be conducting its program
entitled “HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT DAY” centered on the theme “BUILDING
GOOD COMPANIONSHIP TO DEVELOP SELF-CONFIDENCE” The said event
was planned to commence on August 29, 2019 (Thursday) at DCC Gymnasium and
Audio Visual Room, Main Campus. This will be participated by the Hospitality
Management students and Teaches of Hospitality Management Department, and
Guess.

II. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the event, it is expected that the participants will be able to:
a. Show cast their talent
b. Boost their self-confidence and
c. Develop fellowship towards everyone.

IV. GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA

 MR. AND MS. HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT
(8:00AM-11:00PM)
 Participant/s must be Hospitality Management student/s
 Participant/s for MR. and MS. HM will wear School Uniform, Sports Attire
and Creative Jeans.
 Participant/s must prepare 1-3minutes talent.
 Participant will answer the following question in order to be the next Mr.
and Ms. Hospitality Management Department.

 Participant will be judged with the following criteria:

Talent 20%
Confidence 30%
Question and Answer 40%
Over-all impact 10%
Total 100 %

 RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY (1:00PM-5:00PM)

BALANCE THE SANDWICH

Guidelines:
• There is a sandwich that is hang and tied on the shoe of the participant.
• He/she needs to balance the sandwich.
• The first one to finish or the bigger bite in the sandwich wins the game.

LIMBO ROCK
Guidelines:
• Every team should choose another 10 best players to participate the game.
• Every players is provided a piece of cloth that will serve as their blindfold
while playing the game
•All 10 players should play the game
•The players should make sure that there should no any part of their body that
will hit the rope. Moreover, the players should not lie on the ground.

CHARADE
Guideline:
•Every playing team is given 3 minutes to perform the game.
•The team should choose their best 10 players. The rest of the members are the
ones who will guess the word.
•Every player is given a chance to pass if they do not know to act it out.
• Things to be avoided. (1) Sign language (2) saying the word given is not
allowed
