Background of the Study
Ink is one of the products that are used for many purposes.
Objectives of the Study

A. This study aims to prove that it possible to make ink from other materials

particularly charcoal.

B. This project aims to use malbar spinach in making ink instead of just throwing

them.

C. Aims to determine the level of acceptability of produced ink based on the

sensory evaluation of the respondents regarding produced ink in terms of:

a) acceptability; b) eco friendliness and d) usefulness.

Statement of the Problem

The general or main aim of the study is to determine the significant difference of

the perception of chosen respondents on the researcher-made ink and commercial ink.

Specifically, it aims to answer the following research problems:

1. What is the average perception rating of the respondents regarding researcher-

made ink in terms of:

a) acceptability;

b) eco friendliness

c) usefulness.

2. What is the average perception rating of the respondents commercial ink :

a) acceptability;

b) eco friendliness

c) usefulness.

3. Is there a significant difference between the perception of the respondents

researcher-made ink and commercial ink ?

4. How can the researcher-made ink be marketed or introduced to the masses as

an alternative to commercially produced ink?

Scope and Delimitation

This study focuses on the perception of how people see the capabilities charcoal

ink in relation to being a substitute for native ink and will not give any further

extended factor rather than acceptability, eco friendliness, usefulness.

Researchers will conduct an interview thru survey questionnaires on how

effective is charcoal ink as alternative in Diosdado Macapagal High School.
The study involves twenty (20) respondents in Diosdado Macapagal High School
area. Each respondent will be given two (2) same questionnaires to be answered.
Conceptual Framework

The overall blueprint of the study is consist of these variables:

Research Paradigm

INDEPENDENT VARIABLE DEPENDENT VARIABLE

 Charcoal  Amount of ink

produced

MODERATING VARIABLE

 Water

Base on the figure 1 the independent variable is the charcoal while the
dependent variable are the amount of ink produced and lastly the moderating
variable is water..
• Disadvantages and Advantages of Charcoal ink as an
alternative to Native ink.
• Feasibility of charcoal

INPUT

• Provide samples of Paper both native and made of

charcoal.
• Conduct an interview through survey questionarre

PROCESS

• Conduct community program about the effects of chemical

in the environment.
• Recommend and Inform laws
• Conduct programs and seminars educating people on the

OUTPUT advantages of usage of Charcoal as a raw material
