Summary Report 2018
Summary Report 2018
Summary Report
This point-in-time count was conducted between noon on January 23rd and noon January 24th. It was led by members of
the Continuum of Care from various agencies and colleges affiliated with ARCH and the COC. An extensive search of
known encampments and likely camps was made in conjunction with the standard shelter count. Almost everyone counted
was invited to take part in the survey. No one was excluded from the interview without just cause and no one was coerced
by team members to participate in the survey. This report was compiled by Joy Drinnon at Milligan College. For more
information about the demographics or for additional analyses please contact her at jrdrinnon@milligan.edu.

Victims of Domestic Violence
*Domestic Violence: The question changed this year but I think that lots of people still interpreted
it as asking about any domestic violence instead of whether that was the cause of being homeless.
Therefore, I only counted those who were in DV shelters.
