2 ERECTION OF PIPING

Unloading at OWNER'S/IOTIES warehouse and Handling includes lifting, transportation from Storage points to contractor's
workshop for Pre-fabrication or to work-site for field fabrication / erection; fabrication including cutting, edge preparation
(inclusive of grinding the edges of pipe, fittings, flanges etc. to match with the mating edges of uneven/different thickness
wherever required); fitup, bending, preheating wherever required, welding, threading, and laying of pipes of all types and
thickness over sleepers, overhead or racks and at all elevations, connecting with equipment nozzles, strainers, steam traps, orifice
assemblies, spray nozzles, rota meters, tapping for pressure gauges, thermo wells, sample connections, springs, sample coolers
etc. and fixing of gaskets, bolts, nuts including application of torque wherever required & erection of all other inline instruments
and fittings, like elbows, reducers, tees, vents, drains (including reinforcing pads), all types of valves (of all sizes); welded, flanged
or threaded ends, Steam Supply/ Condensate Recovery stations (Cast/Fabricated), alignment, cleaning & flushing by
water/compressed air, hydrostatic, pneumatic, vacuum, spark testing and any other type of testing as specified, draining, drying
by compressed air, performing Positive Material Identification (PMI) using alloy analysers, completing all such works in all respects
(including preparation of small bore isometrics upto 1.5 Inch NB) as per the specifications, drawings and instructions of
OWNER/IOTIES. Also the rates shall include the pickling and passivation of stainless steel joints. Also the rates shall include all
necessary equipment (such as cranes, tools & tackles etc), labour, consumables etc. for completing the works in all respect as per
drawings, specifications and instructions of OWNER/IOTIES.

Notes: - Derrick GA drawings attached with this SOR & same to be used for reference.
- During execution of work, latest set of fabrication drawings & details related to individual derrick will be provided for ease of
erection
- Erection contractor to develop detailed erection plans,rigging plans & constructibility study as deemed required by IOC/FW.
IOTIES will assist to get approval for same from IOC/FW
- Derrick modules will be supplied in loose condition. Assembly of Derrick modules to be done on ground
- Riser pipes (Flare & Utility) will be available in loose condition. Erection contractor to assemble same on ground as per drawing
before erection
- Riser pipes for Flares (HP, LP, LPP & AG ) within Derrick structure are covered under Mechanical SOR .
- Erection contractor to refer detailed scope of work & responsibility matrix (available with this SOR ) for clarity & to quote the unit
rates accordingly.
- Erection contractor to submit crane load charts and test certificates.
- Unit rates shall remain firm for quantity of work for +/- 25%
- Quoted rates to remain firm till completion of work.
- Erection contractor to consider the Precomissioning and Commissioning assistance while quoting.
