Scores and Signals

The KumoTraderAI scoring system assigns a score between 0.0 – 4.0 in 0.5 increments based on the
following:

1. Tenkan above Kijun: score +1.0

2. Price above cloud: score +1.0
3. Right-most cloud is green: score +1.0
4. Chikou Span above price: score +0.5
5. Chikou Span above cloud: score +0.5

Signals are triggered in the following manner:

Strong Buy (all timeframes):

1. Bullish TK cross – Tenkan crosses above Kijun while price is above cloud
2. Bullish Kumo breakout – price rises and closes above cloud

Buy (12h and 1d only):

1. Score increases above 3.0

2. Bullish edge to edge – price enters from below and closes inside cloud

Strong Sell (all timeframes):

1. TK death cross – Tenkan crosses below Kijun while price is below cloud
2. Bearish Kumo breakout – price falls and closes below cloud

Sell (12h and 1d only):

1. Score decreases below 3.0

2. Bearish edge to edge – price enters cloud from above and closes inside cloud
3. C-clamp – Tenkan greater than Kijun, remaining constant for multiple periods and RSI greater than 70
