PHILOSOPHY
 the study of ideas about the knowledge, truth and the nature, and meaning of life.
 came from the Greek word Philia meaning “love” and Sophia meaning “wisdom”

ANTHROPOLOGY – serves as the study of human races, origins, societies, and culture.

FACTS AND OPINION


FACTS/TRUTH – is a statement that something truly exists or happens in actual
existence.
Example of factual statement:
1. Rodrigo Roa Duterte won the presidential election last May 9. 2016
2. Philippines won the arbitration case against China regarding claims of
Islands in the West Philippine Sea
OPINION- is a belief, judgment, or way of thinking about something from an expert.
This also explains the reason or a decision made according to rules and laws.
Example of opinion:
1. According to most of the people interviewed, Adobo is our national food.
2. The survey says, it’s high time to change our form of government to
Federalism.
LIMITATIONS AND TRANCENDENCE

 LIMITATIONS- this is the act of controlling oneself from the extent of something.
Example of Limitations:
1. Saving money in the bank to buy a car
2. Hard work and study first before looking for a job

 TRANSCENDENCE- this is the act to rise above or go beyond the normal limits.
Example statement that shows plans for transcendence:
1. Studying hard to graduate in college
2. Being frugal in spending money
3. Respecting the parents at all times
4. Established a dream house for a family
5. Achieved goal by travelling around the world

CAUSE AND EFFECT


 A cause and effect relationship is when something happens that makes something else
happen. In other words, the cause creates the effect.
