SPECIFICATIONS
A. GENERAL CONDITIONS

These specifications and the accompanying plans and working drawings are intended to describe the proposed building, its
construction, scope of builders’ work and material requirements.

B. PRINCIPAL DIMENSIONS

Height - 2.20 m.

It is understood that in the case of discrepancies between the plans and the written specifications, the latter will prevail and in
the case of discrepancies between the scaled off dimensions and the written dimensions, the latter likewise will prevail.

D. MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP

Workmanship shall be in accordance with the best commercial civil work construction practice to be produce a good appearance.
All materials listed herein shall be furnished by the owner.

E. CONCRETE AND MASONRY WORKS

All cement to be used in the construction shall be Portland Cement of standard brand approved by the government. All sand
and gravels must be free from dirt and organic matters.

i. Proportion of Concrete
all concrete works will be poured in Class A proportion. All forms must be substantial of proper dimensions and so
designed as when removed will produce no damage to concrete.

ii. Concrete Hollow Blocks


concrete hollow blocks shall be true to size without cracks, chips or defects and should be carefully and thoroughly wet
prior to laying.

iii. Steel Reinforcement


reinforcement shall be of good quality and grade of character to meet the requirements of standard specifications for
structural and concrete reinforcing bars as adopted by the DPWH.

F. PAINTING

All surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned and smooth before any paint will be applied. after the first coat has been applied and
is thoroughly dry before the second coat is applied, all nail holes, cracks and defects shall be put up smooth.
